Allegheny County Department of Public Works’ offers free shuttle service that aids pedestrians affected by the Dooker’s Hollow Bridge closure. Passengers will be able to board/get off the shuttle at three locations.
The shuttle service follows the bridge closure’s posted detour route of Bell Avenue, Jones Avenue, Baldridge Avenue, Sixth Street, Yost Boulevard, and Ardmore Boulevard (Route 30). It operates from 7:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday-Friday. Pick-ups/drop-offs occur at each stop location at least once every 40 minutes.
