School Crossing Guards are employed by the Borough to assist with the safe crossing of school aged children on their way to and from school each day. Substitute School Crossing Guards are called on an as-needed basis to replace the regular Crossing Guards to cover for personal and sick days and emergencies that may arise. Typical work hours are no more than four hours per day between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. with slight variances based on the assigned location.
