New Release – Brew Gentlemen

Blanks & Postage, a delicate and sessionable English Mild made with extra-high-quality British malt, is out this week. When we first made this beer back in 2016, it was with selfish intent. We wanted something we could drink a lot of. As time has gone on, we’ve seen more folks gravitate towards these simple, classic styles.
Monongalator, our traditional doppelbock, is back. With a deep caramel color and a richness tempered by the lagering process, Monongalator is heavy on flavor while still maintaining the balance we seek to achieve in everything we make. A rich malt character with subtle roasted notes gives way to a light toffee sweetness, never too much nor too little. Truly a gem of our lager program and a nod to one of our favorite beers, Ayinger Celebrator.
We’ve adopted the doppelbock’s traditional -ator suffix, affixing it to the name of our fine Monongahela River to create the sufficiently silly ‘Monongalator’ handle, as well as its traditional goat-themed imagery.
