December 2019 Newsletter: The Swissvale Borough Senior Center is located on the street level of the Carnegie Free Library of Swissvale with an entrance at 7350 McClure Avenue. Manager, Marion Clair, invites men and women ages 60 and older to join the center. There is no fee to join – it’s free. The center is open Mondays Wednesdays, and Fridays from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Please call for more information. Ten Reasons to join the Swissvale Senior Center: 1. Hot meals are served Mondays & Fridays at 11:30 am and Wednesdays at 12:30 pm. 2. Play BINGO – Mondays & Fridays at 12:30 pm and Wednesdays at 10:30 am. 3. Join a bowling league! The seniors bowl Mondays at noon at Swissvale Bowl-A-Rama located at 2023 Noble Street. Hot coffee and snacks are served at no charge. Bowl three games with shoe rental for $8.00. Call 412-271-4181 or stop in at Swissvale Bowl-A-Rama to join the fun! 4. An exercise group meets Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays at 9 am. 5. Free Panera Bread and other treats on Fridays. 6. Free fruits and vegetables are available monthly. 7.
