ERMVPD provides public safety services to the Boroughs of North Braddock, Rankin, and East Pittsburgh. Located adjacent to Pittsburgh we serve approximately 8,000 residents over 2.45 sq miles.

Created in 2023, the Chief and Officers were sworn in May 3, 2924.

MISSION STATEMENT

The Eastern Regional Mon Valley Police Department’s mission is to provide professional and constitutional police services to the community we serve. Through collaboration and partnership we will protect and serve by building trust, preventing crime and the fear of crime, and improving the quality of life for all. 

VISION STATEMENT

To create a safe, inclusive, and thriving community where every individual is valued, respected, and treated fairly. We strive to build trust and partnerships with our residents through proactive and transparent policing practices and to serve as positive role models and leaders in our community. Our goal is to enhance public safety and quality of life for all while fostering a culture of accountability, professionalism, and integrity within our organization and industry.
