ERMVPD provides public safety services to the Boroughs of North Braddock, Rankin, and East Pittsburgh. Located adjacent to Pittsburgh we serve approximately 8,000 residents over 2.45 sq miles.
Created in 2023, the Chief and Officers were sworn in May 3, 2924.

Through collaboration and partnership we will protect and serve by building trust, preventing crime and the fear of crime, and improving the quality of life for all.

Our goal is to enhance public safety and quality of life for all while fostering a culture of accountability, professionalism, and integrity within our organization and industry.
