Printmaking with Seniors – Swissvale Senior Center

This Fall, artist-in-residence Katy DeMent will facilitate programs with Swissvale’s older population at the Senior Center located in the lower library. Each creative hands-on experience is designed especially for folks who might have low vision and/or memory and physical considerations due to aging. Inspired by nostalgia and lush materials, projects will engage seniors with a variety of printmaking techniques as they craft personalized holiday cards, gifts, and ornaments for any holiday or season worth celebrating. Check our calendar for upcoming dates!
