Street Sweeping Ends – Swissvale

Street Sweeping will continue through November 1. Leaf collection will begin on November 4. Please DO NOT sweep leaves into the street until AFTER November 4. The street sweeper is not equipped to handle picking up large amounts of leaves. The leaves clog the machine and require the sweeper to make more frequent trips to the dump site. This delays the sweeper servicing all streets on its route. Areas with large piles of leaves in the street will be passed by the sweeper.
