Week 3 (6/29 – 7/3) we have partnered with Winchester Thurston School to offer an additional camp for 11-15 year olds. This camp will be for all skill levels. Check their site for hours and pricing. If you’d like more info for that week, you can find it here.
Light healthy snacks (fruits, vegetable, nuts, etc.) will be provided each day of camp. We encourage drinking water instead of sports drinks. The park has a filtered water-bottle fill up station and fountain. Allergies should be noted in medical information section below.
Lunch will be provided to Full Day Campers every day of the week. On Friday we will have a Pizza Party for Half-Day and Full Day Campers for lunch. Guardians are welcome to attend.
Full Day Camp:
The Full Day Skate Camp option is available to give the kids more time to skate in the park outside of the daily curriculum. Many campers use this extra time to work on their skill and tricks. Pickup Time for Full Day Camp is 5pm. Snacks will be provided through the end of the day.
Campers will start out the first day with basic lesson and skill assessments. Based on age, skill level and comfort; groups age 5- 8 and 9-13 will separate for instruction and free skate. Campers will explore the skatepark with an instructor to offer lessons and advise in the street course, bowl, and flat ground tricks.
Other activities will include assembling and finding the right fit and feel of your skateboard, decorating your skateboard, shooting and editing a skateboard video, and skate demonstration for the parents on Friday.
