The Public Works Director will be responsible for the management, direction and supervision of all aspects of the Public Works Department including, but not limited to, 15 full and part-time employees, residential and commercial trash and recycling collection, storm and sanitary sewer system maintenance, road construction and maintenance, fleet maintenance, parks and recreation maintenance and improvements, maintenance of buildings and grounds, street sweeping, leaf collection, tree maintenance, snow and ice removal, traffic signal maintenance, sign maintenance, budget preparation and management, procurement, MS4 compliance and responding to emergencies that occur outside of normal work hours.
