The Youth Services Librarian will be working closely with the Children’s Librarian to expand Swissvale Library’s programs and services to youth and families. With the new Dickson Preparatory Steam Academy opening just down the street, the Youth Services Librarian will build relationships with the school’s students, families and faculty. This position handles several financial processes associated with the sewer utility system. They review development applications on a case-by-case basis for housing and commercial projects, as well as conditional use permits. This committee reviews, discusses and makes recommendations to Council. The committee meets the 1st Monday of every month at the Rankin Borough Building at 7PM.

2/26/21 – Rankin Borough – Zoning Board

Description: This committee acts as an advisory board to Council by hearing appeals of zoning decisions, they make decisions on applications to permit buildings or land use, which may vary from zoning regulations. This committee reviews, discusses and makes recommendations to Council. The committee meets on an as-needed basis in the Rankin Borough Building.
