Dr. Daniel Barr will discuss Armstrong’s Raid at Kittanning during the French and Indian War. Dr. Barr is a professor of history at Robert Morris University, and teaches classes on Colonial & Revolutionary America, and American Indian History. Dr. Barr is also the author of “A Colony Sprung from Hell: Pittsburgh and the Struggle for Authority on the Western Pennsylvania Frontier, 1744-1794,” “The Boundaries Between Us: Natives and Newcomers on the Frontiers of the Old Northwest Territory,” and “Unconquered: The Iroquois Leage at War in Colonial America.”
