BRADDOCK

12/1/22 – Grow Pittsburgh – Braddock Farm Assistant Manager

$20/hour – Grow Pittsburgh is seeking an Assistant Manager at Braddock Farms for the 2023 season. This is a full-time (40 hour/ week, Monday-Friday) seasonal position primarily focused on growing and caring for crops as well as harvesting and packing them for markets. The Assistant Manager will work closely with the Braddock Farm Manager to ensure farm operations go smoothly. This is a 9-month position starting March 13, 2023, and ending on October 27, 2023. Peak Season Farm Worker

$17/50/hour – Grow Pittsburgh is seeking a Peak Season Farm Worker at Braddock Farms for the 2023 season. This is a part-time seasonal position mainly focused on harvesting and washing produce for our roadside stand in Braddock and other community markets. Tasks include harvest, wash produce, packing orders for community markets harvest/wash house upkeep. The Farm Worker will work directly with volunteers and help give direction to volunteers when needed.  This is a 3-month long position starting July 10, 2023, and ending on September 15, 2023.

Wash and Pack Lead

$17/50/hour – Grow Pittsburgh is seeking a Wash and Pack Lead at Braddock Farms for the 2023 season. This is a part-time seasonal position mainly focused on washing produce and packing orders for our community markets. This is a 9-month long position starting March 13, 2023, and ending on November 18, 2023.

The Natural Resource Outreach Educator (NROE) will be ACCD’s outreach and education specialist tasked with stakeholder engagement related to soil and water conservation issues. The successful candidate will develop relationships with key partners including nonprofit, governmental agencies, municipalities, elected officials, the public and members of the agricultural and development sector. 11/26/22 – Pittsburgh Botanic Garden – Event Support

Jen Owen with Flyspace Productions is producing “Dazzling Nights” at the Pittsburgh Botanic Garden. They are looking for people 18 years and older to work any days from 4 to 11 pm starting 11/27 through 12/31 (except Christmas Day). You can choose which days you can work. $15/per hour, parking at the Gardens or a 15 passenger van will leave from downtown every afternoon if you can get to town.
