Blacksmithing Basics Workshop – Rivers Of Steel

This three-hour introductory workshop is a great way to explore the art of blacksmithing and create something unique. Participants will learn the basics of forging steel and use essential blacksmithing tools to craft unique projects to take home. These sessions are led by Rivers of Steel staff artist and bladesmith Jared Ondovchik (aka Artifact Metalworks).
Hooks & Hairpins—These Blacksmithing Basics projects are featured in the March through September workshops.
Halloween Date Night—During the October 24 Blacksmithing Basics workshop, participants will craft small steel skulls!
Holiday Ornaments—The November 10 and December 8 workshops will feature tree and leaf designs.
